クジラの洗車場”ホエール・ウォッシュ”で働くオスカーは、でっかい野望を抱く小さな魚。
人気者だが調子の良いオスカーはいつもトラブルばかり。
ひょんなことから鮫を退治したと嘘をつき、”シャーク・キラーのオスカー”と呼ばれ、一躍街のヒーローになる。
一方、大ボス鮫ドン・リノの息子レニーは優しく正直者、おまけにサメのくせにベジタリアン。
ある日そんな二人が偶然出会う。
サメの世界にうんざりしていたレニーと嘘をつきとおしたいオスカーが考え出した海の世界をも揺るがすような大作戦とは？
